Refund policy

Homeitalia Refund & Return Policy Agreement

This document sets out Homeitalia’s policy on refunds, returns, and warranties. By purchasing from the online store, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms.

1. No Refunds for Misuse or Change of Mind

Homeitalia does not offer refunds or exchanges in the following cases:

·       If the customer changes their mind after purchase (unless it’s within a 7 day cooling off period)

·       If the item does not fit in the customer’s space or is unsuitable for their intended use (unless it’s within a 7 day cooling off period).

·       If the product shows signs of misuse, negligence, or abuse.

Examples of Misuse (Not Covered):

·       Stains from food, drink, or liquids.

·       Burns, cuts, scratches, or pet damage.

·       Broken frames or glass or bases caused by jumping, overloading, or dragging furniture.

·       Alterations, modifications, or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons.

·       Normal wear and tear from everyday use.

2. Warranty

Homeitalia provides a 1 year warranty (in compliance with the minimum 6-month warranty in terms of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA)) covering defective goods. The warranty covers repairs and applies only where a defect exists.

Please Note: there is no warranty given on glass Please note: If goods are collected or delivered by the customer (and not by the store delivery service), the warranty on the item will be void. The store will not be held responsible for any damages or defects once the goods have left our premises.

3. Repairs After 1 year

After the 1-year warranty period, any repairs will be for the customer’s account. This includes the following charges:

·       Cost of repair as quoted.

·       Service charge of R250 (for Admin and driver expenses).

·       Delivery fee calculated by the store
